Deposit Policy

Deposits are required to ensure fairness, protect the integrity of our process, and respect the time and resources invested in each client relationship.

Purpose of Deposits

A deposit is not a casual placeholder. It exists to recognize and protect the significant time, communication, and resources dedicated to each client. This includes:

  • Custom-tailored consultations regarding special requests or personalized orders.
  • Custom-tailored inquiries that require design input, pricing guidance, or detailed communication.
  • Reserved inventory and project planning that removes availability for other collectors.

Deposits also cover the opportunity cost of holding work or dedicating time to one client that could otherwise be allocated to other committed collectors. This safeguards both the fairness of the process and the exclusivity of the collector experience.

Policy Terms

  • Non-Refundable Commitment: All deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. They recognize the time, effort, and resources already committed.
  • Applied in Full: 100% of every deposit is applied to the final balance of your order.
  • Credit Toward Future Orders: If a reserved piece is not completed, your deposit remains as credit toward a future acquisition of equal or greater value. Credits do not expire.
  • Fairness & Priority: Reserved works without deposits cannot be guaranteed. Deposits establish priority and ensure that serious collectors receive first access.

Timelines & Response Times

  • Production Timeline: Orders typically require 2 to 12 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity, size, and rarity of materials. Collectors will be updated when milestones are met.
  • Response Times: WYG Glass is an active working studio. Communication may vary from same-day replies to 24–72 hours, depending on production schedules, time zone differences, and existing commitments. While deposits prioritize your requests in the workflow, they do not guarantee immediate or around-the-clock availability.
  • Professional Courtesy: We ask that clients respect these timelines as part of the creative process. The same care taken in responding is the same care taken in creating heirloom-quality art.

Dispute Resolution

Any questions or concerns regarding deposits must be addressed directly with WYG Glass. Public defamation or misrepresentation does not resolve disputes and will be considered a violation of good-faith business conduct.

Why This Policy Matters

Fine glass art is not mass-produced. Each piece is handcrafted, graded, and reserved with intention. This policy safeguards the integrity of the work, respects the time and resources invested, and ensures fairness to collectors who honor their commitments.

By placing a deposit, you are entering into a professional agreement that protects your priority access while honoring the artistry, resources, and dedicated time invested in your order.
